Vibrant ICT-BPO Sectors for Inclusive Economic Development in the Western Balkans
The information and communications technology (ICT) and business process outsourcing (hiring external associates in business processes – BPO) sectors play a key role in the rapid transformation of markets in the Western Balkan countries. The COVID-19 crisis further accelerated the already rapid digital transformation. This, coupled with physical distancing, made offsite delivery of services and outsourcing more important than ever before. To leverage this digital momentum, RECONOMY designed and started the implementation of an intervention in the Western Balkans to promote and strengthen the “regional value addition” of the ICT-BPO sectors.
