The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector is a fast-growing engine of inclusive economic development in the Western Balkans. With a young, skilled workforce and proximity to the EU, the region is poised to become a leading outsourcing destination. However, fragmented markets, insufficient branding, and weak market linkages continue to limit impact and job creation, especially for youth, women, and disadvantaged groups. RECONOMY aims to overcome these challenges by fostering regional coordination, building unified branding, and strengthening labor market intermediaries.
